ABOUT :
To foster the culture of Entrepreneurship and Innovation, the University established Start-up and Innovation Cell in 2017.

Vision

 

To transform university graduates into skilled professionals by creating a vibrant Ecosystem promoting Innovation, Product Development and facilitating Start-up.

 

Mission    

          

  • To promote critical thinking among students through conduct of Idea competitions and boot camps.
  • To organize periodic workshops and interaction with successful entrepreneurs to boost the entrepreneurial mindset of students.

 

INSTITUTION INNOVATION COUNCIL

MHRD, Govt. of India envisioned creation of IIC’s across selected Higher Education Institutions. The Primary mandate is to encourage, inspire and nurture young students by supporting them to work with new ideas while they are in formative years.

The University established Institution Innovation Council under the aegis of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) - Innovation Cell in 2018.

IIC-Focus

 

1.   To create a vibrant local innovation ecosystem.

2.   Start-up/entrepreneurship supporting Mechanism in HEIs.

3.   Prepare institute for Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements Framework (ARIIA).

4.   Establish Function Ecosystem for Scouting Ideas and Pre-incubation of ideas.

5.   Develop better Cognitive ability amongst Technology Students.

 

TINKERING LAB 

The University has established a Tinkering Lab to let the students experience hands-on experimentation and come out of their think space to Tinker space. The lab has been created with the intent to cater to the broad diversity of students in the University.
